Just one week ago i got a CD..... "Ever Green Bhajans by OS ARUN"(my fav singer).....
The very first track in that CD "Bhagyada Lakshmi ......." The Pantuvarali Raga exposition by OS Arun was simply great... The way he sings this song...... oh my god i feel like it takes me a round to the sorgavasal where i can see thayar with perumal .......... He begins the song with a alapana ( correct me if i am wrong.... i am new to carnatic terms).....and then he takes the pace..... the way he pronounces the kannada words.. its excellent.......
Think i am going to try to learn this song and try to sing in the same way he does
